OncoLink

OncoLink is the cancer resource online center (www.OncoLink.org) from the Abramson Cancer Center of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.  The site offers educational, Survivorship, and financial programs for cancer survivors as well as resources for health care professionals.

The American Cancer Society

The American Cancer Society ( www.cancer.org) is the largest organization in the United States devoted to cancer education, resources, advocacy, and research.  The Society provides educational resources concerning breast cancer, its treatment, and Survivorship programs.  The Society has local chapters that coordinate local resources for patients and health care professionals throughout the United States.

Cancer Care ( CancerCare.org)

Cancer Care ( www.CancerCare.org) based in New York, offers educational, financial,and psychosocial counseling programs.  The organization offers Survivorship programs, and offers a variety of media formats to access information and programs.

Cancer.Net

Cancer.Net is the patient educational service of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), which is the world's largest professional organziation for cancer specialists.  Cancer.Net offers professionally written educational information concerning breast cancer medical care and survivorship.  It offers Survivorship programs and access to clinical trial information, as well as Advocacy programs.  Cancer.Net offers Survivorship Care Plans, in coordination with ASCO.

Cancer Support Community

The Cancer Support Community offers educational resources, recovery and survivorship links, an opportunity to find local community support and online support, and resources for caregivers, and teens.  An "Empower" link provides recommendations for the Survivor to take actions to organize one's plan of care and recovery.  The organization's website is:  www.cancersupportcommunity.org.

Living Beyond Breast Cancer

Living Beyond Breast Cancer offers educational and communication tools, resources for clinical trials, and a newsletter for regular updates.
